Aaron Hartman, intern counselor
Aaron is a dedicated counselor who is committed to guiding individuals toward holistic well-being and ultimate flourishing. Aaron brings a compassionate and client-centered approach to every session that is grounded in evidence-based practices and a deep belief in the Catholic Christian understanding of the human person. Aaron strives to foster a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their challenges in a non judgmental space that encourages thriving and growth. He is formally trained in EMDR, a trauma-informed approach that helps people heal, recover, and flourish.
It is Aaron’s conviction that there is power in mutual collaboration and empowerment of the individual. By fostering a trusting therapeutic alliance, Aaron helps clients uncover their strengths, heal from past wounds and poorly adapted habits, and develop practical strategies to overcome current obstacles. With warmth, empathy, and a genuine commitment to helping create positive change, Aaron is honored to accompany clients on their path to greater resilience and fulfillment. Each client is a unique unrepeatable individual to which Aaron provides personalized guidance tailored to each person's unique needs. He also believes that warmth, empathy, and a little laughter can help form that genuine partnership that every person needs in order to get their life back on track.
Aaron graduated from Arizona State University and Divine Mercy University. He loves his wife of five years and they both have a passionate heart for adopting children into their family one day. His favorite place in the world is a beautiful sunny lit park where he can play sports with friends, read books, or simply sit and enjoy God’s creation.
